Free Shutterfly Christmas Cards!!

I am not sure what to write on this post other than I love Christmas. I love spending the time with my family and I love to look at the snow. As long as I don't have to drive in it that is. I love receiving Christmas cards but for some reason I haven't actually ever sent any out. I have always meant to and I buy them but then I just don't send them.

This year it is more important to me to send these cards out. My baby girl will be one on December 8th and we had some very cute family pictures done by http://www.kissedbydesigns.com/ recently so what better way to show them off then with a cute Christmas card. I want my little girl love the holiday season as much as I do. It has been snowing a lot lately and everytime it does I think Christmas is right around the corner. What better time to reconnect with family and friends then to send out some cute pictures than this time of year? Emily is already eight months old! She is growing and learning so fast! We love this little girl more than anything in the world. Just a few little facts about this beautiful little girl.
She weighs 19.6 pound.
She loves to walk while holding someones hands.
Loves food. Any kind of food is good to her.
She loves to steal Mommy and Daddys food.
Loves to play with the cats and dog.
Loves Grandpa's whiskers.
Like to chatter.
Can't decide if she wants to walk or crawl.
Still looks like her Daddy.
Still in size 3 diapers.
Her first time riding in the shopping cart and the cute dress her Aunt Kim made her.
Ahhhh!
Happy Naked Baby.
Dress up.

EMILY'S FIRST BASEBALL GAME!!!
Emily went to her first baseball game on August 11th, 2010. She was such good girl and loved being outside. She didn't really care for the game yet but it was fun to be able to go. Next time we will sit in the grass so she can move around a bit more.

It was University of Utah Employee night at the game so we were able to get a picture with the Universitys mascot Swoop. Emily wouldn't take her eyes off of him. At least she didn't cry she just wanted to know what he was.
This is a picture with our friends Chris and Tirah. Tirah was nice enough to buy Emilys first two bees hats. Emily wore one of them to the game but she wouldn't keep it on. It was tons of fun to go with our friends.

Pahrump and Six and Seven Months!

It has been a while since we have posted anything so we have TONS of pictures to share today. In May we went to visit Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Gillespie in Pahrump, Nevada! It was a VERY long drive but Daddy was a trooper and drove at night so Emily could sleep most of the way down. It was great getting down there and we can't wait until we can go again. Emily really loved Grandpa and the puppies were pretty funny too.

Bath Time in Grandma's sink. Emily was sliding everywhere!

Emily and Great Grandma Gillespie. She is almost as big and Grandma!
MMM what a tastey finger!

Emily and Great Grandpa Gillespie. They were so cute together!

Emily really loves her Great Grandpa!
Emily had her six month pictures in June. I can't believe how fast the last six months have gone. She has grown so much. She sits very well and still hates Tummy Time.
At six months Emily:
Wore size three diapers
Loves pears, carrots, and any real food that she can grab off of mom and dads plates
Was 26.5 inches long (90 percentile)
Was 17.4 pounds ( 85 percentile)
Head was 17.4 inches (90 percentile)

Emily thought this was funny.

All smiles
I love the little fairy in the corner.
At seven months Emily is:
Still in size three diapers
Will eat whatever is given to her even if she has to steal it from you.
Loves to pull my arm towards her to get whatever food Im eating
Loves to slap tables and make noise
Talks all the time
Can stand up if she has your hands to pull you up
Cries if a stranger is holding her
Loves her Mommy and Daddy
Really wants to walk but still wont try and crawl.
She is planning something here I'm just not sure what.

She loves to chew on these blocks.

Happy Fourth of July!
She really likes balloons.

I made her this tutu with help from her Aunt Kim. She is already a little girly girl.

Emily's Firsts!

Daddy and Emily's first picture!

Emily's first day home!

Her first bath. Needless to say she really didn't like it. Now she loves bathtime more than anything else.

Emily's first Christmas picture. We stuffed her in her stocking just before she got too big to fit in there. This just might be my favorite picture of her!

Our first family picture. This was taken on Christmas morning. She was so tiny!

Emily's first Valentines Day! She was so cute in that red heart outfit!
Emily's first St Patricks Day! I still love the pockets on that dress!

Emily's first Easter! I loved taking these pictures and I love that she put her hand in her mouth since that is where it always is! It was perfect.

Welcome to our Family Blog!

Isaac and I met in January of 2005 and started dating. We saw each other everyday. By December we knew we wanted to be with each other for the rest of our lives and he proposed on December 23rd. We were married on August 19th, 2006 and have loved every minute of it. We bought a condo and started our lives together.

In April of 2009 Isaac and I found out that we were going to have a baby and we started planning an unmedicated birth. In Septemeber we started taking the Bradley Method birthing classes and it was the best decision we ever made because on December 8th 2009 we welcomed our daughter Emily Seren to our family. She has been an adventure from the very beginning. She was born in our home and was delivered by the Magna Unified Fire Authority because I was unable to make it to the hospital before she came. She was very alert right from the beginning and is a very sweet little girl who looks like her Daddy. She weighed 6 pounds and 14 ounces and was 19 inches long at birth.

The Gillespie Family went from having one small child in the family to having five small children. Starting with Maddy (7/29/2004), Conner (09/11/2009), Collin (11/13/2009), Emily (12/08/2009) and Lilith (02/13/2010). It was definitely interesting to have all three of my siblings preparing for a baby at the same time as me.

At Two weeks Emily Weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Everyone was very happy with her weight gain. She was absolutely perfect.

At Two months Emily weighed 11 pounds 3 ounces and was 22.2 inches long.

At Four months Emily weighed 13 pounds 13 ounces and was 24.2 inches long.
