A Little Update on Emily

Here are some updated pictures of Emily who just turned two! The first picture is her birthday picture in her cute new outfit. I can't believe my baby is already two years old. She amazes me every single day with how fast she learns and her silly personality. She has grown so much in the last two years.

Here is Emily is her birthday outfit!

Emily and her dog Wiggles. She loves her dog, and her Dog loves Her!

These were done at The Great Salt Lake. Needless to say Emily did not like to be in the basket but we still had fun playing at the lake for a little bit.

Indiana Vacation

Just a little update on how things are going. Emily is getting huge and learning new things every day. We took our first vacation as a family and flew out to Indiana to visit some family in September. Isaac and I were terrified that Emily would not do very well on the air plane boy were we wrong. She was a perfect angel both going there and back. While were were there we were able to go to The Newport Aqaurium in Kentucky, The Indianapolis Zoo and a Toy Museum. The reason we flew out there though was to surprise my grandmother for her 80th Birthday. We has a wonderful time seeing family and visiting. I only wish we could go more often. Here are just a few pictures.

The Epic Harry Potter Party

I am a little behind on updating this blog so now I will attempt to get a little more caught up. I will start with the oldest things first and make my way on up to the present.
In October we threw a Harry Potter Party. My sister and I have been fans a for a very long time but we have never thrown a party. My husband has just finished reading the books with me and he may not be as big of a fan as we are but he at least enjoys the story now. I wouldn'y have been able to throw this party with out him. He put so much time into helping me get the invitations and the chocolate frogs ready and watching the baby while sewed the cloaks.
Throwing this party was a ton of work but in the end it turned out wonderful. There was tons of food and great company. We had a sorting where everyone was given a button and a description of what there house was like. My Ollivander was kind enough to bring everyone wands. And Wealsey Wizard Wheezes sent us some Pygmy Puffs for everyone as a gift. It turned out to be a great night with some great friends. It was perfectly magical!
Welcome to Hogwarts. The sign on the front door.
Where we had all the delicious food!
Me being sorted by the hat who was so tired by the end of his Song Isaac had to help him announce what house people were being placed in.

My little owl being sorted. It was a little big on her head.

My goofy husband Isaac being sorted.

Mr. Ollivander giving a yound Hermione Granger her first wand.

The cute Pygmy Puffs that The Weasleys sent over for the party.

EMILY'S FIRST BASEBALL GAME!!!
Emily went to her first baseball game on August 11th, 2010. She was such good girl and loved being outside. She didn't really care for the game yet but it was fun to be able to go. Next time we will sit in the grass so she can move around a bit more.

It was University of Utah Employee night at the game so we were able to get a picture with the Universitys mascot Swoop. Emily wouldn't take her eyes off of him. At least she didn't cry she just wanted to know what he was.
This is a picture with our friends Chris and Tirah. Tirah was nice enough to buy Emilys first two bees hats. Emily wore one of them to the game but she wouldn't keep it on. It was tons of fun to go with our friends.
